Hi Gregory! Welcome to planDisney!
I'm excited to hear that you're planning a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort this month! A vacation during the
holiday season is one of the best times of the year to visit the parks and resorts.
In order to add the
Disney Dining Plan to your trip, you must purchase a vacation package that includes your Disney Resort hotel stay and park tickets. If you are staying off-site, the Disney Dining Plan is not available to add on to your trip. Simply purchasing a 3-day Park Hopper Ticket will not give you the opportunity to add on a dining plan.
If you decide to stay in a Disney Resort hotel during this trip, the process to book your package is quite simple. Use the
Build Your Vacation toolbar located at the top of the Walt Disney World website to get started. Enter your anticipated travel dates and the number of Guests in your group. You'll then choose between the available resorts and the specific room type that best fits your needs. You can then add your park tickets, followed by the dining plan of your choice.
If you are only purchasing park tickets, I have a suggestion that will help you plan your dining before you arrive. Take a look at the menus for the dining locations that you plan to eat at. This will give you a good idea about the approximate costs associated with each meal. Then, purchase
Disney Gift Cards for the amount you plan to spend. You can use these gift cards for payment when dining at many of these locations. This idea helps you budget for your dining costs that you expect to spend during your stay!
Gregory, I hope this information helps you plan your Disney vacation! Stop back and
see us again at planDisney!
See ya real soon!
Greg
