If I buy a one day ticket and add park hopper, am I able to visit other parks?

Hi Mike! Thanks for hopping by planDisney with your question. Let’s talk about one of my favorite ways to maximize the magic: the Park Hopper option!

If you purchase a one-day ticket and add the Park Hopper, you’re golden to visit more than one Walt Disney World theme park on the same day. That means you could start your morning wandering the trails of Disney’s Animal Kingdom, swing by EPCOT for a midday snack stroll around World Showcase, and end your evening with fireworks over Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom. How’s that for a Happily Ever After?

As of now, park hopping is allowed anytime during park hours once you’ve tapped into your first park. No more waiting until 2:00 PM like in years past! Just keep an eye on the My Disney Experience app in case a park reaches capacity (though that’s a rare pixie-dust hiccup).

I’m a Florida local myself, and let me tell you, having the freedom to park hop makes even a quick visit feel like a full-on Disney adventure. It’s the perfect way to chase your favorite snacks, shows, or characters across the parks all in one day.

Mike, I hope that helped answer your question. Let me know if you want help planning your perfect hop-around-the-World itinerary. I'm always happy to help!

Wishing you a day full of magic, memories, and maybe a Mickey pretzel (or two) along the way! ~Emille
