If I buy a one day pass, can I upgrade later to a 2 day pass?

Hi there, Wilfreda! Thanks for stopping by planDisney and asking your question!

I love that you are thinking about extending your trip to the Disneyland Resort! With so much magic to explore, I certainly understand wanting to add a day! You can most certainly upgrade your one-day ticket to a two-day ticket. To do so, you will need to visit a ticket booth sometime on that first day before the parks close. Once you upgrade, you will need to make a theme park reservation (just as you did for your one-day ticket) for the second day online or using the Disneyland app. So, before you head to the parks, it's a good idea to check the theme park reservation availability calendar to ensure there is availability for your second day.

If your one-day ticket is a one-park per day ticket, you can also upgrade it to a Park Hopper ticket at the same time you add a day. With a Park Hopper, you can enjoy both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park in the same day. You will start at the park for which you have a theme park reservation and then at 1:00 p.m., you can hop to the other park. The Park Hopper option is a flat fee per ticket, not per day. So if you add this option, it would be one price and you could park hop both days.

I hope this information was helpful. Have a magical day!
