Hello, Corinna! Welcome to planDisney. I'm so glad you've stopped by to chat about purchasing Walt Disney World Theme Park tickets.
I think you'll be happy to know that it is possible to buy a one-day park hopper ticket. To do so, you'll visit the
Walt Disney World Theme Park ticket website, linked for you. You'll then select the number of days you'd like to buy a ticket for, in your case, you'll select a 1-day ticket. Next, you'll have a choice between a standard one park per day ticket or the park hopper option. After you've made your selection you'll scroll down to the calendar and select the date you would like to use your ticket on. Then you'll keep scrolling down and choose how many people you wish to purchase this type of ticket for and then continue to the check-out page where you can pay for the Walt Disney World Theme Park ticket.
Once you've purchased your ticket, you'll need to link it to your MyDisneyExperience account so you can then make a
park pass reservation. With your park hopper ticket, you'll still need to select the first theme park you plan on visiting that day and set that as your park pass reservation. On the day of, you'll need to scan in and visit the Walt Disney World Theme Park ticket with the park pass reservation first before continuing on to other parks later in the day. Park hopping hours now start at 2:00 p.m. and last until each park closes in the evening. It is not necessary, or even possible, to make multiple park pass reservations for one day. You'll just need that initial selection. After 2:00 p.m. you can visit any or all of the other Walt Disney World Theme Parks that you'd like.
I hope this helps, Corinna. If you have any other questions, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm here to help. Have fun and happy hopping!
