Well hello again, Laura! Welcome back to planDisney!
I'm so happy to be helping you out again, Laura! After all, we
Annual Passholders have to stick together!
So here's the scoop. Your Annual Pass begins on the day it is activated. This is very different than the date that it is purchased. You will activate your Annual Pass at a
Guest Relations location at The Walt Disney World Resort before entering the parks. Your "start date" will be the first time you use your Annual Pass to enter any of the four theme parks. So, if you buy your pass today, but don't use it until November, your expiration will be in November of 2023.
I know that we've already spoken about
theme park reservations, so be sure to make those before heading over to the parks. Despite being an Annual Passholder, you'll still need a reservation to enter!
Also, Laura, I thought you might like to know that as a Florida Resident and an Annual Passholder, you will now be met with multiple options when it comes to saving your hard-earned dollar bucks at Walt Disney World. Though most discounts cannot be combined, you'll see many offers for both
Annual Passholders and
Florida Residents. It can be beneficial to comb through all of your options to see where you may find the most savings before your visits!
Well, this is not goodbye, but "until we meet again." Or as my good friend Tigger says, "Ta ta for now."
