Hi Stephanie!
Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney and sending this Disneyland Resort Military special offer question to us hEAR!
First off, please allow me to say a big 'THANK YOU!' to both you and your service member, Stephanie, on behalf of everyone at planDisney. I'm an Air Force spouse myself, and I know it's not an easy job. That's why I love so much the
special offers Disney has made for Active Duty, Reservists, full Retirees, and those with 100% service-related disabilities to have some adventure, fantasy, excitement, fun, togetherness, and magic in their lives.
At the current time, sadly the
3 and 4-day Disneyland Resort Military Promotional Park Hopper Tickets are only for sale on U.S. Military bases and posts. Pre-pandemic, yes, you could purchase these passes at the ticket booth. However, and somewhat sadly, when the reopening procedures limited in-person interactions for Cast Members at the ticket booths, these special military tickets were kind of placed in limbo for guests like yourself as well as me. (I'm currently in Texas, and the nearest base that sells these tickets is 60 miles away.) I do want you to know that I've brought this ticket trouble up many times, and hopefully, there's a solution soon. However, that doesn't help either of us right now.
What you could do is try to call around to the different MWR and ITT offices at the bases and posts in your area. Your ID will get you on to any installation even if it's a different branch. But pro tip, some ticket offices might be able to make these kinds of ticket sales over the phone. The rumor is that Camp Pendleton is one of these locations, however, I'm not 100% if they will email the tickets to you or send them through the mail, etc.
The one thing I do want to point out is to double-check the
Park Pass Reservation Calendar. Another measure put in place upon the historic reopening is that every guest needed to make a
Park Pass Reservation in advance of their Disney Day(s), which basically tells Mickey and his pals which theme park you'll be playing in on what day. With the Park Hopper Option, you'll select the park you'd like to start your day in; you're then able to hop over to the other theme park any time after 1:00 PM as long as you've already entered the reserved theme park first.
I'm currently not seeing any park pass reservations available for your desired Disney dates. Sadly these do open for booking 120 days in advance and once they don't often refill. Sometimes you might find a day has opened up, either by pixie dust or by a bunch of people canceling their reservations a few days before. But, one of the BEST things about the
Military salute tickets is that they're valid until Mid-December, so once you have them you'll be able to book your Disney days as soon as the park passes open up!
I hope that this helped to plan some upcoming Disney days for you and your spouse, Stephanie! Be sure to follow the
official planDisney Instagram account for even more tips and tricks. And if you have any more Disneyland Resort planning questions, We're All Ears!
