John Paul, welcome to planDisney the most magical place on the internet to get answers to your Disney vacation questions. For me, becoming a
Disney Annual Passholder has been "practically perfect in every way” and has allowed my family to make more magical visits to see Mickey and the rest of the Fab Five.
Fantastic news! Disney theme park tickets are upgradable to annual passes for non-Florida residents provided annual passes are still available for purchase.
Theme park tickets may be upgraded as long as all the ticket has not been completely used up. For example, if you have a 5-day ticket and you use four days of the ticket, you must upgrade before you enter a theme park on the fifth day. Upgrades may be made by visiting a ticket window or Guest Services desk at any theme park or the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs. They will take the value of the entire ticket and apply the cost to the annual pass. The annual pass use-year will be dated from the first day you used the original ticket. As of now, the only annual pass available (and subject to availability) for non-Florida residents is the Disney Incredi-Pass.
planDisney Pro Tip: If you are strongly considering becoming a Disney Passholder then I suggest you do it at the beginning of your trip. The
benefits are outstanding for merchandise and dining discounts as well as
Disney Resort hotel rooms.
John Paul, I hope this information helps as you plan your next Disney adventure. Feel free to
write me back directly with any follow-up questions.
Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
