How do I buy memory maker for 2 days (11/9 and 11/12) Also how soon should I purchase it

    Hi Catherine,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question! So glad to hEAR that you’re looking into Memory Maker, it’s such a great service to use throughout your Walt Disney World vacation because you’re able to capture your memories while making sure everyone can get into the picture!

Before you purchase, make sure to check out the different options for Memory Maker. There’s Memory Maker One Day (you could purchase two of these separately), Memory Maker – Advance Purchase, and Memory Maker. Since you’re only wanting to purchase Memory Maker for two days, I suggest purchasing it on the day you’re wanting to use it, this way when you activate it in the Theme Parks by taking a picture, you’ll be all set. You’ll need to follow the same process for the second day you’d like Memory Maker. Memory Maker One Day includes all Disney PhotoPass media from 6:00 a.m. ET on the date of activation through 5:59 a.m. ET the following day.

Now, if your vacation is a bit longer, and you want to have the Service for the duration of your vacation, definitely look into Memory Maker – Advance Purchase or Memory Maker. With Memory Maker, the service is available for 30 days, so you’ll be able to get even more memories during the vacation. Keep in mind with Memory Maker – Advance Purchase, you won’t be able to use the service for the first three days after buying it, so if you choose this option, you’ll want to purchase prior to going on your vacation.

One final thought: If you’re planning to purchase Disney Genie+ in addition to Memory Maker, you’ll have access to Disney PhotoPass Lenses. Through the My Disney Experience mobile app, you and your guests would be able to use the augmented reality lenses to add some special magic to your vacation. Keep in mind that Disney Genie+ is a separate purchase and the Disney PhotoPass Lenses aren’t a substitute for Memory Maker (you’ll still need to purchase it). The virtual Lenses are just an added bonus!

I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as you begin preparing for your vacation. If you have any other planning or vacation questions, please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
