Can I buy a meal plan when I get to my hotel (animal kingdom) ?

    Hi Nicole,

I am so glad that you posted your question about the Disney Dining Plan to the Moms Panel because it is not possible to add a dining plan to your vacation package upon arrival to your Disney resort.  I would hate for you to think this was possible and then be disappointed.  You must add the Disney Dining Plan of your choice and pay for it in full several days before you arrive at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge.  In most cases, you must also be purchasing theme park tickets as part of your package to be eligible to add the Disney Dining Plan.  I suggest you call your travel agent (if you used one) or the Walt Disney Travel Office at (407) W-DISNEY right away to see if you are eligible to add the Disney Dining Plan.  It's a fabulous way to save money on your food budget while vacationing at Walt Disney World.

Thanks for a great question!  Best wishes to you for a truly magical vacation.
