    Can I buy a meal plan even though I’m not staying in a Disney hotel? Also as I’m doing Disneyland over 2 days can I stay for the fireworks? Thank you in advance

    Hi there Kimberly!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm so excited you will making the journey all the way from the United Kingdom to the Happiest Place on Earth. Currently the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California does not offer any type of meal plan. The Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, though, does offer a Disney Dining Plan which is only available to hotel Guests. At the Disneyland Resort, you can secure dining reservations, dining packages, and Character Dining experiences up to 60 days in advance. These Table Service Restaurants and packages can be reserved online, on the Disneyland app, or by calling (714) 781-3463. Some of my favorites restaurants to reserve in advance are Blue Bayou Restaurant in Disneyland Park, Carthay Circle Restaurant in Disney California Adventure Park, and the Character Breakfast at Storytellers Cafe in Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. I also loved booking a Fantasmic! or World of Color Dining Package for guaranteed viewing of these spectacular shows.

    Before your visit you can view entertainment schedules online or using the Disneyland app. This will tell you the times of parades, nighttime spectaculars, and fireworks in Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. With two days on your vacation, you will have plenty of time to see some of these unique offerings.
