    Should I buy magicband+ for my daughters and myself. We are going to Disney for the first time and will go to Mickey's Very Merriest Christmas Party. I would like to know if the magicband+ will interact with the fireworks show

    Hi Melody! Welcome to planDisney.

    Oh Boy! Your festive holiday-filled visit to Walt Disney World Resort is so very close. I absolutely love my interactive MagicBand+, but please note it is not necessary to enter the parks. There are alternative methods of entry I explained in detail to another guest, give it a read. My favorite immersive use of the new MagicBand+ is bringing the Disney Fab 50 Character Collection statues "alive" with a wave of my hand.

    I just returned from an immersive visit which included Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. I too anxiously awaited to find out if my MagicBand+ would link up with Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show. Well, I am here to inform you, it does indeed sync up with the fireworks and Cinderella Castle projections towards the finale.

    A couple of special events not to miss at this special ticketed event include Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade and Mickey's Most Merriest Celebration stage show. Check the My Disney Experience Mobile App for show times. If you can wait for the later parade, crowds tend to thin out as families with little ones head out for the evening. And definitely hit all of the Christmas Cookie Treat stops throughout Magic Kingdom Park. Many attractions will have festive holiday overlays as well. Personally, I would not miss the Jingle Cruise for a pun-filled evening cruise.
