If I buy magic kingdom tickets for 1 day and the child gets ill are the tickets refundable or good for a different day? Thank you

Hey, howdy, hey, Tami! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question! It sounds like you're planning a magical day at Magic Kingdom Park for you and your young mouseketeer! This has always been my favorite park because it offers so many attractions and experiences for guests of all ages to enjoy together!

Tami, while the idea of getting sick on vacation is not one we like to think about, it can happen. You'll be happy to know that the Walt Disney World Resort does have a ticket policy in place for unexpected incidents such as sickness that would possibly prevent you from using your Theme Park Tickets. This policy may allow an unused, dated ticket to be modified for use on a different day than the one originally selected (note that in some cases, this may require the guest to pay the price difference if the new date is not the same cost as the original date booked). You should be able to complete this process online, but if you have any problems with making changes to your unused ticket, you can always call a Cast Member at the Existing Tickets phone number for assistance!

Now that we've talked tickets, I'd love to share my favorite attractions at Magic Kingdom with you so you can plan for a practically perfect day! Here are my top picks:
    • Mickey's PhilharMagic is my favorite show at the park! Enjoy a musical adventure alongside Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck set to the familiar sounds of your most favorite animated Disney classics!
    • Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is my favorite coaster in the park! With a height requirement of 40 inches, it's a great family-friendly coaster for kids, tweens, teens, and adults alike!
    • "it's a small world" is my favorite classic attraction, with Dumbo the Flying Elephant taking a close second.
    • No visit to Magic Kingdom would be complete without watching Happily Ever After light up the night sky over Cinderella Castle. Arrive early, grab a snack from Main Street Confectionary or an ice cream sundae from The Plaza Ice Cream Parlor and secure a spot anywhere along Main Street, U.S.A. to take in all the enchantment of this magical show!
Tami, I hope this helps, and I'm wishing you the best day ever at Magic Kingdom! If you have any other planning questions, come on back to planDisney and let us know! We're always happy to help you reach out and find your happily ever after!

    See you real soon,
    Alison
