If I buy a magic key pass on a blackout date, would I be able to enter the park on the day it was purchased? My family is planning on going Friday March 3rd and would like to join them by buying magic key pass. Would this be possible? Looking for inspire

Hi Jimmy! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks so much for stopping by and sending this question our way.

I'm happy to hear you're planning a visit with your family! I think The Happiest Place on Earth is always more magical when you can share the memories with those that you love. If you would like to purchase an Inspire Key, you would be able to make reservations and visit on dates that are not blocked out, pending the availability of Magic Key theme park reservations. Unfortunately, if you were to purchase it on a date that is blocked out, you would not be able to use it on that date. One option is to purchase a theme park ticket and upgrade it to an Inspire Key, provided new sales are available on the date you are visiting. You would need to upgrade your ticket before leaving the theme park that day.

I hope you are able to enjoy visiting the theme parks as a Disneyland Resort Magic Key holder! If you are visiting Disney California Adventure Park this week, be sure to check out the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival. It begins on March 3rd and there will be many delicious sips and bites to enjoy! Soarin' Over California will be returning for a limited time along with the festival.

I'm wishing you a wonderful visit with your family and hope that you make many special memories. When you're ready to plan your next visit to the Disneyland Resort, please stop by planDisney again with any questions you might have. We're all ears and would love to help!

    Wishing you magic,
    Lisa
