    do i buy the magic bands before my vacation or are they purchased at the hotel and how do i link them to my Disney experience account.

    Cassandra:

    If you are staying at a hotel on Disney property, you will receive your Magic Bands at the mailing address linked to your reservation about a month prior to leaving for your trip. In fact, you should receive several emails letting you know that you can personalize the bands via your MY DISNEY EXPERIENCE account, choosing colors and names for each family member's band. If you are staying on property, it will not be necessary to link your band to your account. However, if you see that under the "My Reservations and Tickets" heading that your hotel reservation is not there, just follow the directions to link your confirmation number to your Disney account. That way, you won't miss out on the fun of personalizing your bands and letting Disney do the work!
