Can you buy and use magic bands if staying off Disney property? I was told yes but can't link credit card to it.

Hello Kama and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Sure thing! I'm super happy to share that yes indeed all Guests visiting Walt Disney World Resort may purchase MagicBands to use during their Disney days.
MagicBands may be purchased from select merchandise locations upon arrival at Walt Disney World Resort or ahead of time via this Shop Disney Parks link or direct from the Disney Store online or even from the Disney merchandise locations at Orlando International Airport!
Simply link your MagicBand and valid Disney Theme Park Tickets go your My Disney Experience account and you're all set for a magical day.
Amongst some other perks like using their MagicBands to open room doors Guests staying in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel may also link a valid credit card to their MagicBand.

    Have a great Disney day.
