    Can we buy Magic Band + at DisneyWorld and it work at DisneyLand also?

    Welcome to planDisney! MagicBands and the new MagicBand+ options are great tools that offer a lot of convenience during your stay at Walt Disney World Resort. You can open your Walt Disney World Resort Collection hotel room and enter the theme parks with a tap of the wrist. Your bands can also be used to charge food and merchandise to your resort, access your Disney PhotoPass Photos, enter your Lightning Lane queues and so much more. And the launch of MagicBand+ means even more features. You can choose virtual bounty hunting in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge and even interact with the new nighttime spectaculars. MagicBand+ is also expected to debut in Disneyland later this year. 

    I am happy to report that you will be able to use your MagicBand+ at both Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort. You can purchase your favorite new vacation accessory online at shopDisney, or purchase them throughout Walt Disney World Resort. There are a few notes to keep in mind as you continue your magical planning. 
    • Only the MagicBand+ option will be supported at Disneyland. Previous generations of MagicBands can only be used at Walt Disney World Resort.
    • MagicBand+ can only be used at Disneyland after the product launches this year. Be sure to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for the official date!
    • Some experiences may vary from park to park, but both locations will offer a variety of fun new ways to interact with the magic. 
    Don't forget to download the My Disney Experience app for Walt Disney World and the Disneyland Resort app for your Disneyland journey. You will need to pair your MagicBand+ to the apps to use the exciting new features.
