If I buy lightning lane for someone in my party and they are unable to fit on any rides will I be reimbursed?

    Welcome to planDisney, Kathleen!

Lightning Lane Single Pass and Lightning Lane Multi Pass are both great ways to save time during your upcoming visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth. A little less time in line means more time for your favorite character interactions and maybe an extra ride or two during your adventure.

Traditionally, both Single Pass and Multi Pass are non-refundable. Should your travel party find they are unable to enjoy a purchased Single Pass for a specific attraction, you could speak to a Cast Member with Guest Services. You can utilize the My Disney Experience app to find their locations throughout the parks. While there are no guarantees, they may be able to offer you a solution if you are unable to use the purchased passes. I also want to mention that there are a few Single Pass attractions, including TRON Lightcycle / Run and Avatar Flight of Passage, that offer test seats at the entrance of the queue. When in doubt, I recommend Guests try these out! This is a great way to be sure they will be comfortable on the ride, before spending valuable time in line. Additionally, some attractions offer alternative seating options. You can inquire with a Cast Member about options that may be available should you find an attraction uncomfortable.

Kathleen, if you are referring to a Multi Pass purchase, you will find that most attractions are accommodating to a variety of body types. You should be able to use this feature on a wide range of rides throughout the day.

Don't forget to mark your calendar for your Multi and Single Pass booking window! Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel can make their selections 7 days before check-in for the length of their stay (up to seven days). All other Guests can book their passes 3 days before their theme park visit.

I hope your upcoming adventure is magical!
