You seem to be well on your way to supporting the Resistance in the fight against the First Order. The essentials are theme park admission and a theme park reservation to Disneyland Park (or to Disney California Adventure Park if you have a Park Hopper ticket). The next step to joining the Resistance happens on the day of your visit.

A few particularly popular attractions offer à la carte access to their Lightning Lane queues that is separate from Lightning Lane access to attractions included with the Disney Genie+ service. Here are the steps to purchase a return time for one of these individual Lightning Lanes:

1. Make sure all of your tickets are linked to your account in the Disneyland mobile app.
2. Each Guest for whom you will be purchasing an individual Lightning Lane return time must have used their ticket or pass to enter Disneyland Park that day (or Disney California Adventure Park if using admission with the Park Hopper entitlement).
3. Open the Disney Genie service Tip Board screen in the app and find Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance in the list of attractions. If Disney California Adventure Park is selected, you’ll need to tap “Change Park” to display Disneyland Park attractions. Or you may find the attraction on the park map and tap the Lightning Lane button from the attraction information page to open the Tip Board and automatically scroll to that attraction.
4. If the offered return time works for your plans, tap the Individual Lightning Lane button to purchase your return time. If you would prefer a later time, you can check the app again later to find a time that works for you. Return times are subject to availability. So it may be best to check often if you are hoping for a specific time.
5. Select the tickets and passes you wish to include in your Lightning Lane return time purchase.
6. Confirm the ticket selection and finish with the payment information. If you are using an Apple iPhone, you can use Apple Pay. Or you can enter your payment card information or use the credit card you have stored with your Disneyland Resort account.

Tony’s Tip: Be sure to enable notifications for the Disneyland mobile app so you get a reminder when your Lightning Lane return time is ready to redeem. Or set an alarm to remind you to head toward Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge to help the Resistance. To redeem your return time at the Lightning Lane entrance, you can scan the code accessed from the “My Genie Day” screen in the app. You can also scan your park tickets. Or each Guest using a MagicBand+ may simply tap their band to redeem their return time.

You may purchase individual Lightning Lane return times for up to two different attractions per day. You may also purchase individual Lightning Lane return times even if you have not purchased the Disney Genie+ service.
