Welcome to planDisney, Jersarte. Thanks for stopping by with your question. I'm so excited to hear that you're interested in unlocking a year of magic and becoming a
Magic Key holder. I hate to keep you from the magic, so let's get to your question.
You can absolutely use both a
Disney Gift Card and your debit card to pay the remaining balance for your Magic Key. As a matter of fact, I did something similar when I renewed my pass last year. I used a combination of my Disney Rewards Redemption Card and a credit card. On the payment screen, scroll down past the credit/debit card fields and you'll see the option to pay with a "Disney Gift Card." Complete the fields with your Disney Gift Card information and you'll see the "Due Now" balance update. Scroll up and complete the fields with your debit card information.
Voilà! That's all there is to it. You're now a Magic Key holder and can immediately begin making
theme park reservations. If you aren't already, I recommend following
@disneylandmagickey on Instagram for the latest and greatest news and updates. The Magic Key portal in the
Disneyland app is another great place to keep an eye on. I always check here for any extras before and during my visits to the park. Like right now, there's not one, but
two exclusive
Magic Key holder popcorn buckets (while supplies last) that you can use for $2.25 (subject to change) refills until February 24th.
Jersarte, I hope this helps answer your question. If there's anything else that we can help with, please come back to visit. Until then, here's wishing you a most magical year with many visits to the Happiest Place on Earth!
