    I would like to buy hopper tickets to wrap up under the tree. How do I get those?

    Hi there, Pamela!

    I love your question, that sounds like my kind of present! In fact, I've surprised my kids with a Disney trip before, too! I'd love to share some ideas with you.

    Tickets purchased on the Disneyland website will be Disney eTickets that are linked electronically to your account. While this is great for making park reservations and keeping track of your tickets, they are a little hard to wrap!

    I've found a few different ways to wrap up some Disney magic under our tree:

    • I have bought Disney Gift Cards to wrap and then use when we visit the parks. I just included a cute note about "We're going to Disneyland!" wrapped with them.
    • A small plush of a favorite character is a great way to announce your trip! You can find other fun ideas like hats, shirts, or ornaments on shopDisney (and they're doing some awesome holiday sales right now). 
    • One year we gave our kids suitcases for them to pack for our trip. Honestly, that was a gift for me, too. I love having my kids be able to roll their own bags around! We filled them with a few fun things like sunglasses and headphones that they could use while we travel.
    • Some small shops online make very cute Disney trip announcements that you can print out to wrap. It might be worth a quick online search! 
    Do you know when you want to visit the Disneyland Resort? Just last week the Disney Parks Blog shared the calendar of events for all of 2024 so you can look at what is happening and pick the perfect dates! Personally, I'm looking at a time when both the Season of the Force (yay for new Star Tours destinations) and Pixar Fest are going on. It's going to be so much fun!
