Hey there, Yelitza! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. I am excited to hear you’re looking to visit
Disneyland Resort soon!
While you can
purchase tickets at the main entrance, I strongly recommend purchasing tickets in advance because each Guest needs both a valid ticket AND
park reservation for each day of their visit.
If you wait until you arrive at the parks, you’re taking a risk that reservations may not be available that day. Whether booking at home or at the parks, all Guests and Cast Members are accessing the same, central reservation system.
That said, if you aren’t seeing the date(s) you’d like available, I would keep refreshing the
reservation availability calendar, as sometimes Guests change plans last minute and cancel reservations which become available for other Guests.
You can purchase tickets in advance on the Disneyland Resort website. Go to Parks & Tickets,
Theme Park Tickets, and select the number of days and number of tickets. Then, select the ticket type - One Park Per Day Ticket or Park Hopper Ticket. After that, you’ll be taken to the park reservation calendar to select the specific date(s), to secure your reservation along with your purchase.
By the way, the latest episode of the
planDisney Podcast was just released, and it includes lots of tips about Disneyland Resort!
Sending you a pinch of pixie dust to secure your tickets and reservations. The magic awaits!
