    If I buy a gold pass this year and decide after this year I want to do platinum can I pay platinum renewal cost or do I need to buy a whole new pass?

    What a great question!

    I just activated my own Disney Gold Pass, so I called Walt Disney World to inquire about how you or I would go about upgrading to a Disney Platinum Pass during our renewal period.

    In short, if a Disney Gold Passholder decides to upgrade to a Disney Platinum Pass within his or her renewal window, that upgrade is easy. Simply call the Annual Passholder hotline at (407) 560-7277. Then, you will be able to renew your Annual Pass at the Platinum pass renewal rate.

    Annual Passes are such a great way to maximize the magic of multiple upcoming Walt Disney World stays, and the perks that come with them are pretty fantastic, too!
