    Do I have to buy Genie+ for all my park days or can I just buy it for individual days? How would I go about buying Genie+ when I am already at the park?

    Welcome back to planDisney! It’s always exciting to see a Guest who has returned to see us again and again, so we’re glad you’re here!

    Disney's Genie and Genie+ service is the newest way to make the most of your time in the theme parks. This add- on feature allows you to select, one at a time, entrance to select attraction's Lightning Lane, meaning shorter than typical waits. You do not have to purchase Genie+ for all of your park days! This is a definite benefit as depending on the day, and how you like to experience the parks, you may find Genie+ very useful on one day, but not necessary on another day. The flexibility lets you choose which days you want to use the option!

    You can add Genie+ to your ticket on the day of. Typically the window to add it opens at midnight, but if you are going to be asleep then like me, you can add it in the morning. You can make your first Genie+ Lightning Lane selection at 7 AM, so you’ll want to go onto the My Disney Experience Mobile App before 7 AM to add Genie+. Make sure you have the most updated version of the app before your visit. On the day of, open the app and go to My Day. Then select the option to “Get Disney Genie+ Service." You’ll then select which members of your party to add the service to and follow the prompts to complete the transaction! Once you have Genie+ added, wait for 7 AM and make your first selection. If you decide you want to wait until you arrive at the park to decide if you’d like to add Genie+, that is okay too, just follow the same process.
