can I buy the genie + for Epcot 6am in morning for eg but go to magic kingdom without the genie plus first thing attend my booked brunch there, get an early ride with small queue booking genie plus bookings at epcot for later that day and moving parks?

Welcome to planDisney, Olivia. I'm happy to answer your question today.

When the Disney Genie+ Service goes on sale each morning through the My Disney Experience mobile app, you will have the option to purchase the service for one park or multiple parks (subject to availability). If you have theme park tickets with the Park Hopper Option, you can certainly purchase this service for EPCOT only but start your day in Magic Kingdom Park. Just note that you will not be able to book attractions through the service for Magic Kingdom Park. Instead, you'll wait in a standby queue for any attractions you'd like to ride there. You will be able to book attractions for EPCOT, one at a time, starting at 7 a.m., even if you are visiting a different park first.

An important piece of information about the Disney Genie+ Service is that you do not get to choose the time you'd like to ride. Instead, the service will offer you the next available time to ride. So, if you want to book an attraction in EPCOT for later on in the day, you would need to wait until the return times offered reach your preferred time. For some attractions, like Remy's Ratatouille Adventure and Frozen Ever After, that will happen pretty quickly. In fact, Remy is often booking well into the evening or completely booked up before that park even opens! So, I would recommend trying to book that one first if it's on your list. For other attractions, the return times will steadily progress later and later.

Let's use an example to illustrate how this all works. Let's say you think you're planning to arrive at EPCOT at 11 a.m. and you really want your first ride to be Frozen Ever After (which is one of my favorites around the Walt Disney World Resort). So, at 7 a.m., you'll navigate to the Tip Board by clicking on the 3 horizontal lines (☰) at the bottom right-hand corner of the app, scroll down and select "Today's Plans," and click Tip Board. Make sure the correct park is selected (if it's not, just select "Change Park") and find Frozen Ever After. Click "Book Experience" and if the time works for you, complete the process. If it's too early, you'll either select a different experience for now and book this one later, or you'll simply keep checking back until the return times work for you!

Olivia, don't worry. It's actually not as complicated of a process as it might seem. I just like to be thorough in my explanation of it. It's the teacher in me! But trust me, you've got this.

If you have any other questions, I'm happy to help.
