Hi Mary!
What a fabulous present- a ticket to the
Walt Disney World Theme Parks! Your granddaughter must be so excited!
Florida residents may buy tickets for children in their family under the age of 18. Since your granddaughter is 18 and an adult, she needs to live in Florida and provide
proof of residency to qualify for a
Florida Resident ticket. This may be done at any Guest Services location. I suggest stopping by one at
Disney Springs or outside any theme park entrance the day before you visit a park. Waiting in line at a ticket window is not how you want to spend time in the morning on a park day.
A
Disney Park Pass Reservation is required as well as valid admission to enter a theme park, so do book park reservations well in advance.
Another way to treat your granddaughter is with
Disney Gift Cards. These may be applied to tickets, food, souvenirs, resorts, or anywhere you can use a credit or debit card at
Walt Disney World.
Wishing your granddaughter so much fun visiting Mickey!
