If I buy five 1-day admission tickets for 1pm entrance(I am attending at Grand Floridian), can I assign one to my 17yo and use the other 4 myself? I assign the that ticket (and add park hopper tix) to her in the app then she can access on her own phone?

    Hi there, Susan!

A warm welcome to planDisney and thanks for stopping by with your exciting Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question. It sounds like you're preparing for an unforgettable trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth! Susan, I recently returned from a practically perfect stay at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and I can assure you that you're in for a magical and memorable time. Now, let's discuss your theme park admission!

Susan, while you can certainly purchase five 1-day theme park tickets separately, I would encourage you to purchase a 4-day theme park ticket for yourself and a 1-day theme park ticket with the Park Hopper option for your child, in this situation. Guests can save when they purchase multi-day tickets as opposed to multiple single-day tickets, so purchasing your tickets this way would provide you with the best value! Tickets that are wholly unused and unexpired can be reassigned to another Guest in your Family & Friends List in My Disney Experience at the time of purchase. As long as your daughter is connected to you via your Family & Friends List, you should have no issue reassigning a theme park ticket to her!

Your daughter will have several options for accessing her theme park admission. She could create a Disney MagicMobile pass within the My Disney Experience mobile app to enter the theme parks using a mobile device or smartwatch. Alternatively, she could pick up a physical card at a theme park ticket window once she arrives on-site. Finally, she could use a MagicBand or MagicBand+ to quickly "tap" into the theme parks! Of these options, I feel that the MagicBand+ provides the most streamlined experience based on personal experience. Not to mention, Guests with MagicBand+ can experience special interactions with many theme park attractions and nighttime spectaculars!

Susan, I hope you've found this information helpful. If you have any additional or follow-up questions, feel free to reach out to me directly or revisit planDisney anytime! We're here to help you make the most of your time at The Most Magical Place on Earth.

    Warm wishes,

    Lauren
