    If we want to buy extras while we are in the park -Plush toys, an extra drink or food snack, Anything we pay "out of pocket" for. Do you use your magic bands for those purchases (since a cc is linked) or do we need to carry cash in the parks?

    Hi Cynthia! Continued thanks on behalf of myself and all of the Disney Parks Moms Panelists! Thank you so much for sharing all of your questions with us!

    My husband and I typically carry a small amount of cash ($20 or less) and one credit card with us for "just in case," but I can't think of a time we have used either since MagicBands were introduced. Your MagicBand is really all you need and you will love the convenience it offers! You absolutely can use your MagicBand to charge food and souvenirs to your Resort hotel room! (We also take our Photo IDs with us to the Theme Parks and Disney Springs. I encourage you to take yours with you as you may need it from time to time.)

    Before your vacation begins, be sure your MagicBand is linked to your reservation. If you haven't already done so, you will want to use the Online Check-In service before you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort. Creating your PIN is part of the Online Check-In process. Your PIN is needed to purchase items while using your MagicBand at Walt Disney World Resort. Online Check-In will also simplify your arrival at your Resort hotel and help you maximize your time during your first day of vacation.

    I'm sure you must be so excited knowing you will be at Walt Disney World Resort in a few short days.
