When I buy an etickets, can I prebook my fast passes right away or do I have to wait until I get to the park and then link the tickets to my Disney app?

    Hi Margaret,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question, this time about your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort. I’m always thrilled to meet my fellow Canadians!

Purchasing Theme Park Tickets online is incredibly convenient. During your purchase, you’ll be able to assign each ticket you purchase either to your own My Disney Experience account or to another account that appears in your “My Family & Friends” list (you don’t have to control the account in order to assign a ticket).

Once the Theme Park Ticket is linked to the proper account, you can absolutely make FastPass+ selections once your selection window opens. If you’re planning to stay at a Disney Resort Hotel (and that reservation is linked to your My Disney Experience account), then your selection window will open up to 60 days before your arrival. If not, then you’ll be able to make your selections up to 30 days before each visit.

I hope my answer helps you plan your visit to Walt Disney World Resort. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

Meet the Panelist: Lynne, Quebec

Hi, I’m Lynne from Montreal, Quebec, Canada! I’m a working mom who enjoys snuggles with my son and my husband, who has been my sweetheart since 1997. We’ve been lucky enough to experience several milestones in Walt Disney World, including our wedding and honeymoon in 2009. As Disney Vacation Club members, we often plan trips for large, and sometimes even multi-generational, groups to come and enjoy the fun with us. Learn More About Lynne
