    If I buy a Dooney and Bourke magic band now for my nieces's birthday, will it still work next July when we go to WDW?

    Hey, Pamela!

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You are the Best.Aunt.Ever! Those new Dooney and Bourke MagicBands are awesome and your July trip will be unforgettable.

    I have MagicBands that are over 2 years old that still work. Cast Members I have spoken with over the years tell me that MagicBands last about 24 months. Of course, yours may last longer or shorter than this but you should be safe with purchasing one now for July of 2017.

    Disney Dad Tip: Make sure to bring the receipt and the MagicBand with you next July in case there is an issue. Disney Cast Members are very understanding if an item that should be working is not doing its job.

    Pamela, remember Neverland and Walt Disney World Resort is the second star to the right, and straight on till morning.
