Welcome to
planDisney, Nicole!
Thanks for sending your question our way.
Disneyland Resort is magical for all who come to this happy place, including our friends with special needs, and I'm so glad to help your family have the best vacation possible.
No matter how you purchased your
Disneyland Resort Vacation Package, you can register for
Disability Access Service. I recommend pre-registering for DAS Advance virtually with a Cast Member starting 30 days before your theme park visit. To take advantage of virtual pre-registration, you must do so at least two days before arrival. Consider setting a calendar reminder on your mobile device so you don't forget to pre-register. The virtual chat is so convenient; last summer, I traveled with a friend whose medical condition required DAS in theme parks. A week before our visit, he conducted his pre-registration from work during his lunch break. DAS offered him peace of mind, assuring him he would be comfortable in Disneyland Resort. If you do miss the window for advance registration, no worries! You can register onsite at
Guest Relations.
Nicole, I hope you have a wonderful visit this spring, making special memories with your family. If you need help navigating the theme parks with your son once you are onsite, Disneyland Resort Cast Members will happily assist you. I recommend familiarizing yourself with other
services available to Guests with special needs, and don't hesitate to write back to us if further questions arise. Thanks again for stopping by planDisney, and we look forward to seeing you in the Happiest Place on Earth this spring.
