Hi Stacey!
It sounds like you are planning a magical vacation and this year is a great time for your trip. There are so many new and exciting things headed to Walt Disney World Resort for you to enjoy. I can't wait to ride the
Disney Skyliner opening this fall!
Walt Disney World Resort tickets provide Guests with a lot of flexibility for their vacation itineraries. Walt Disney World Resort currently uses date-based ticketing for new theme park tickets, where your tickets are valid for a window of dates following your selected vacation start date. The length of your ticket window depends on the number of admission days of your ticket. For example, if you purchase a 4-day ticket, you will have seven calendar days to use your four theme park admissions. In general, the theme park days on your ticket do not need to be used consecutively and admission windows are long enough to allow you to take breaks between theme parks visits so you can visit Disney Springs, enjoy recreational activities at Walt Disney World Resort and spend some time relaxing!
If you are planning a longer trip, you have the option to add the Flexible Dates Option to your ticket, which will allow you to start your trip at any time before December 31, 2019 and will allow you to use your ticket over 14 calendar days. This option is perfect for Guests who are interested in planning a longer vacation! I recommend that you take a look at the
Ticket Guide for additional information about Walt Disney World Resort tickets and tips on planning your magical vacation.
Let us know if you have additional questions as you continue planning. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
