    If I buy a Disney Pixie Annual Pass and new annual pass sales release, can I upgrade to a pirate pass at any time?

    Hey there, Jessica, and welcome to planDisney! 

    As someone who contemplates a move to sunny Florida after just about every visit, I always feel a little FOMO when I chat with Florida residents about Annual Passes. Walt Disney World Annual Pass sales are currently paused for non-Florida Guests, and we are unsure when this enchanted offering will return in full to the resort. So while I patiently wait for the Annual Pass program to fully return, I’m happy to help you figure out how to experience Walt Disney World as often as you can!

    Jessica, the only Annual Pass that is currently available for purchase is the Pixie Dust Annual Pass for Florida residents. I confirmed with a Cast Member that upgrades were available at any time with the previous Annual Pass program. So if the program returns with the same provisions, you should still be able to pay the difference and upgrade to the Pirate Pass at any time once Annual Pass sales resume. So I guess both you and I will be eagerly waiting for that day!
