How can I buy a Disney photo pass and what does it cost

    Hiya Christa!

My favorite souvenir from every single Disneyland Resort trip is always my photos. Let's make sure you are ready to capture all the core memories coming your way!

I like to purchase Lighting Lane Multi Pass to maximize my time in the parks...and it comes with unlimited digital downloads of all your attraction photos and Disney PhotoPass Photographer images that day! If you are using Lighting Lane Multi Pass then your photos are automatically included, you just need to link them to the Disneyland Mobile App.

Disney PhotoPass Lenses are also magically added to your mobile device when you're using Lightning Lane Multi Pass and they are a total blast. Some only work in specific areas of the park, so check the app when you're in unique spots!

If you won't be using Lightning Lanes you might want to purchase Disney PhotoPass+ One Week, which lets you download all of your photos in a week for one price (at the moment it's $78, prices are subject to change). You can also purchase individual downloads of photos through the Disney PhotoPass website.

Just this morning I was scrolling back through photos of my Disney adventures in 2024. Family and friends, DOLE Whip floats, warm hugs...it's almost like being there! Having those special pictures at our fingertips really is a huge gift, and there are many photographers throughout the parks ready to help you catch the perfect photo. Some of my best pictures are from Disney PhotoPass photographers, I am so grateful for their talent and enthusiasm. They're always so kind, I hope you will leave a cast compliment in the app if you meet someone awesome!

When I was little we used to watch a video of Disney Sing Along Songs from Disneyland Park. One of the songs was "Makin' Memories" which was written by the iconic Sherman brothers. Whenever I'm taking pictures in the parks I think of their words:

    Making memories, making memories
    Taking pictures is making memories
    Catching little pieces of time
Making 'em yours, making 'em mine
    Great vacations and celebrations
Can fade away in a year
    But when we're making memories
    Happy days are always here!

Seasons change, kids grow, and new dreams come our way. Our photos remind us how much fun we've had and help us get excited for the next adventure! I hope you'll make many wonderful memories in the parks, Christa!

    Keep moving forward!
