Hello, where can I buy Disney Giftcards when I enter the Magic Kingdom on my first Day? I have to register my son for a DAS, can I purchase a Giftcard there too? Thanks so much for answering my never ending questions!

    Hi Lisa,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We love when guests visit us over and over with questions, so keep them coming.

Disney Gift Cards are so wonderful; I use them to stay on budget, avoid cash, and generally make my Walt Disney World Resort visits so much easier.  I will often use my MagicBand to make charges to my room, then make a visit to the front desk at my resort once a day and pay the balance of my account.  When you visit Guest Relations in the Magic Kingdom to register your son for the Disability Access Service, you should be able to purchase a gift card while you are there also.

Additionally, you can purchase Disney Gift Cards in any merchandise location while visiting the Walt Disney World Resort.  My favorite gift cards are the mini ones on a little springy bracelet that are available during the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival and the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival.  These cards are able to be reloaded so you can use them for multiple stays.

You can also purchase Disney Gift Cards at your favorite discount retailer (I buy them at Target quite often and at warehouse clubs as well) prior to your stay.

My favorite way to pick out a fun, unique Disney Gift Card design is to visit the Disney Gift Card website. Not only can you order some really awesome designs, you can also manage your gift cards on this site.  If you're purchasing multiple gift cards of small values (I'll often purchase them here and there and store them until my trip), you can visit the site and combine them onto a single gift card. I do always save my smaller cards until my vacation is completed just in case of any issues.

Lisa, keep the questions coming! I hope you have a fantastic vacation.

    Best Wishes,
    Amy S.
