If I were to buy Disney Gift Cards now, 2010, from a Grocery Store, will they still be good to use in 2012, or will they expire? Or do I need to buy them from an official Disney location? Thanks.

    Hi Stephanie,

    I LOVE Disney Gift Cards!

There is no expiration date for Disney Gifts Cards so any that you purchase or receive as gifts will be valid for purchases until all remaining funds have been depleted from the card.

Another great thing about Disney Gift Cards is there is no service fee for unused balances.  I personally can not imagine a time when I would not use all the funds on my Disney Gift Cards while I am at Disney World (that's an idea I just can't wrap my head around because I'll buy about anything that Disney puts some cute mouse ears on it) but if that ever occurred, it is awesome to know I won't be charged any service fees like some other gift cards.

Disney Gift Cards are now sold at many retail locations such as grocery stores so feel free to purchase them there.

Be sure to protect your Disney Gift Cards as they are not linked to a particular person like credit or debt cards & anyone can use them. I would suggest making a front & back copy of each & keeping the copies in a safe place. If your cards are lost or stolen, you should immediately contact the Disney Gift Card center at 877-650-4327. Wishing you many magical memories :-) Allison
