Can you buy the Disney dining plan at a later time from when you book your Disney vacation package? Would I still get a good discount adding it later?

    Hey, Crystal!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. With the wave of a magic wand and a tip of his sorcerer's hat, Mickey is able to do almost anything. Your trip should be designed for you and your party making it Magic Your Way. Anything is possible provided it's done at the right time.

Disney Dining Plans are a special benefit for Guests of Walt Disney World Resort hotels. You may add a Dining Plan to your vacation package only if it is at least three days before your Resort hotel check-in date. I suggest you contact your Authorized Disney Travel Specialist to get pricing on adding a dining plan. Typically, there is very little discount on the Disney Dining Plans except when there is a Special Offer for Magic Your Way Vacation Packages that includes free dining.

Disney Dad Tip: If you know there are certain restaurants you want to experience then make those reservations as soon as possible. Dining reservations may be booked up to 180 days in advance with or without a Disney Dining Plan.

Crystal, enjoy making many Magical Memories at Walt Disney World Resort!
