Hi there, welcome to planDisney Steve. Thanks for stopping in with your question.
Visiting the
Walt Disney World Resort is such a special time for most. Especially if you are making your way from across the pond. In most cases, you will want to make Theme Park Reservations, but there are options for you to purchase just 1-day while you are in the area. If you decide to go this way you should know you may not be able to enter the park if there is no park availability. You can always check the
Availability Calendar as well to see what parks are available on each day. You can walk up to a ticket window and purchase a 1-day ticket for each person in your party.
If you are only visiting for one day my recommendation is always
Magic Kingdom Park. This is quintessential Disney in my opinion. Walking down Main Street U.S.A. towards Cinderella Castle is most kids' dreams come true, including this kid at heart. If you do visit make sure you download the
My Disney Experience App and try and join the Virtual Queue at 7 a.m. for your chance to ride TRON Lightcycle / Run Presented by Enterprise. You have an additional chance at 1 p.m. in case you miss that first opportunity at getting a boarding group number.
I hope this information was helpful. If you have any additional questions you can always
call Walt Disney World for additional questions regarding tickets.
See ya real soon,
Jeremy A.
