Hi Lisa!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you so much for bringing this question to us hEAR!
I'm an Air Force wife and I'm very happy to say that yes, the wonderful
3-day and 4-day Disney Military Promotional Tickets can indeed be purchased at the Disneyland Resort Main Entrance Ticket Booths in the Esplanade between both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. And as an added bonus, there's no sales tax charged on tickets purchased here! My family is currently stationed locally to Disneyland; two of my very best AF wife friends were in town three weeks ago and they bought their tickets minutes before walking in to our first Disneyland theme park. All you'll need is your valid Military ID and your method of payment, and you'll be good to go! Do remember that this promotion is open to U.S. Service Members who fall in the following categories: Active Duty Service Members, Active Reservists, Full Retirees, those who are 100% medically retired, or spouses of any of the following.
I will say that if you
can purchase your tickets before your first Disney Day to definitely try to do so; we waited with five little ones for about half an hour before it was our turn to purchase these tickets, and that was at 2:00 P.M. My 'Pro Tip' is that if you're staying at a
Disneyland Resort Hotel or at a nearby
Good Neighbor Hotel and you aren't going to the parks on your check-in day, to swing by and get your tickets so after you arrive in the area so you'll be all set your first park morning. And as an added bonus, you can stroll the
Downtown Disney District just steps away from these ticket locations where you'll find plenty of shops and fantastic dining locations.
Another option is these tickets are also sold at many local bases, such as March ARB, Camp Pendleton, Navy Base San Diego and Los Angeles AFB. And Bonus Tip: The MWR/Ticket Offices on bases/posts also sell additional Disney theme park discount tickets, like a 1-day, 2-day all the way up to 5-day tickets, as either a 1-park ticket or as the popular Park Hopper option. And lastly, if you purchase a 1-day ticket on base, you
can upgrade it to a Military Promotional 3-day or 4-day ticket at a Disneyland Ticket Booth in person as long as you do so before the park closes for the night on the day you use it.
I hope this helped to plan your upcoming Disney Days, Lisa, and if you have any more Disneyland Resort planning questions, We're All Ears!
