Can I buy a dining plan after I book my stay, or do I have to do it at the time?

    Hi Chasity,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. We on the Disney Parks Moms Panel love helping guests to plan magical vacations!

As Disney Vacation Club members, we are able to add the Disney Dining Plan, the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan, or the Disney Quick Service Dining Plan to our Disney Vacation Club reservations. This is a great option as so many Disney Vacation Club members enjoy the ease of having a dining plan to use at the many wonderful restaurants at Walt Disney World. These dining plans cannot be paid for using vacation points; you must use a payment method such as a credit card to do so, and you must pay in full at the time of adding the dining plan. You can do this by heading to the Disney Vacation Club member website and using the Vacation Center link. You can also call Disney Vacation Club member services at 1-800-800-9800, and a cast member there can assist you with adding a dining plan to your reservation. If you are adding a dining plan, you must do so at least 48 hours before your check in at your resort.

If you are not a Disney Vacation Club member, Disney dining plans must be a part of a Magic Your Way Vacation Package. For assistance if you are not a Disney Vacation Club member on booking one of these packages including a dining plan, I recommend that you call Disney at 407-939-5277.

I hope that this information is helpful for you, Chasity. Have a great time planning your magical vacation, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions!
