Can you only buy the dining plan for the adults and not the kids ( they will be 4). I just don't think it will be worth the cost for the kids. Thoughts?

    Welcome back, Misty!

When you add a Disney dining plan to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation, the plan will cover all Guests staying in your room for the length of your visit. Therefore, you cannot purchase a plan for just the adults on your Resort reservation.

Now, is a dining plan worth it for your young Mouseketeers? That depends on how you use the dining credits and where you plan to dine. When my Mouseketeer was about four, we found that using our dining credits for dinner shows, character dining and Disney Signature dining experiences made the most sense for our family and our investment. Over the years, our dining style changed, and we rarely purchase a dining plan now. My advice is to consider where you plan to dine and what your Mouseketeers might order before you decide on adding a Disney dining plan.
