Hello Juan Carlos!
Welcome to planDisney! I love that you are choosing to spend 2 days in Walt Disney World Resort right before the New Year! It is a busy time in the Parks, but it is one of my favorite times. The Parks are still festively decorated and Magic Kingdom Park runs
Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade during the day! I even verified it on the
Hours & Events Calendar! It is one of the best parades and is usually only shown during
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party but during this special week, it is shown to all Guests who visit Magic Kingdom Park!
If you have a two-day
date-based theme park ticket then you do not need a theme park reservation. You will know if you have that ticket if, at the time of purchase, you had to pick a start date for the ticket and were given four days to use the tickets. Since a date range was selected, a theme park reservation is unnecessary! Another way to confirm you don't need a
theme park reservation is to try and see if you need to book one. Most likely it will just inform you that you do not need them. If you do need it due to the nature of your ticket not being date-based then go ahead and make your reservations asap!
So what does this mean for you, Juan Carlos? It means that on December 30 and 31, if you have a date-based ticket, you can just go visit the Parks you want to visit! I have to warn you that Magic Kingdom Park on New Year's Eve is a very busy Park. Many people want to visit and experience the
New Year's Eve nighttime spectacular show called "Fantasy in the Sky." Out of all four main Theme Parks, Magic Kingdom Park has the greatest likelihood of reaching capacity and not allowing any guests in after a certain point on busy days. My biggest piece of advice is to arrive at Magic Kingdom Park no later than 11 am and just settle in for the day. Do not leave until you achieve everything you want to achieve as there is a chance you may not be allowed back in. Don't push yourself too hard, eat and drink well, and have a magical time!
Happy Planning!
