Hi Jamie,
How exciting to be planning 2 Walt Disney World vacations over the next few months! Not only that, in February you will be visiting during the final days of the
Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration and your visit also coincides with the
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts. Then in April you will be visiting during another fabulous time and get to experience the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. I would like to tell you how impressed I am with the timing of your vacations!
At this time,
Walt Disney World Theme Park Tickets have an expiration date based on the length of the ticket. A 10-day ticket expires 14 days after the selected start date. A 5-day ticket expires 8 days after the selected start date. Therefore unfortunately, you will not be able to purchase a 10-day ticket and use it for both of your vacations. I know this is not what you would want to hear, but I do have some potentially good news for you. You asked if you could upgrade your tickets to an Annual Pass if it is brought back by the time of your vacation. The answer is yes, you may upgrade your tickets to an Annual Pass if your tickets have not been used up or expired. So, you have until the last day you use your ticket to upgrade to an Annual Pass if it is brought back that time. At this time, only Florida residents are able to purchase a new
Disney Pixie Dust Pass and all other new Annual Pass sales are paused. I recommend that you keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for any news regarding new sales of Annual Passes.
