Hey there, Zeina, and welcome to planDisney! We're so glad you stopped by today with your question.
I'm happy to share that standard
theme park tickets purchased through the Disneyland website do have quite a long window before they expire! For example, if you purchased a 2-day ticket today, it would be valid until January 12, 2025. When you're ready to purchase your ticket, you can see the current expiration at the bottom of the purchase page in the terms & conditions.
As you mentioned, once you scan your 2-day ticket to enter a park for the first time, you must then use the other day of that ticket within 13 days of first use.
While I've never visited the parks during this time, I have quite a few friends who say they love visiting to experience New Year's Eve at the Disneyland Resort. From what I've heard, it can get quite crowded, so I would recommend making
theme park reservations early. Those dates should be made available for reservations a few weeks from now, but you can keep an eye on it with the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar.
Similarly, book any
dining reservations or other experiences that you're interested in as soon as you can as well! This should be such a fun time to visit the parks. Make sure to slow down and take it all in!
Thanks again for your question, Zeina, and I hope you have a great visit to the Happiest Place on Earth.
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
