Hey there, Sangeeta! We appreciate you stopping by planDisney! You've asked a great question about Disneyland tickets. Let's get you an answer!
I'm excited to hear that you are thinking about visiting Disneyland Resort this summer. We have had a lot of excitement these past few weeks. We can now give our favorite characters in the parks and some of our favorite nighttime spectaculars have returned as well. I'm happy to share that if you purchase a one-day ticket to Disneyland Park you will be able to leave the park and return later. Tickets allow in and out privileges, however, you could be denied entry if the park has reached capacity. I do think this is unlikely with the current reservation system in place. So if your party needs to take a midday nap to be able to continue the day, you are free to leave and return. This also gives you the opportunity to venture out into
Downtown Disney District for meal options and shopping as well.
I suggest purchasing your tickets sooner rather than later since you are hoping to arrive on a holiday. Once you purchase your tickets, you will also need to make
theme park ticket reservations for the day and park you wish to visit. This is why purchasing your tickets as soon as you can is important. If you purchase the tickets through the
Disneyland website, you should be able to make the reservations during the purchase process.
If you have little kiddos in your party, be sure to check out the
Baby Care Centers. This is a great place for diaper changes, for feeding them, or for taking a break from the parks. They also have toddler-sized training toilets that come in quite handy! You'll also find many must-have items for sale here if you need to restock anything.
Sangeeta, thank you again for reaching out to us. I hope you are able to plan your visit to Disneyland Resort soon. Come back and visit us again with any other questions you might have!
