I want to buy a 3-day ticket to Disney World with Genie+ now before it's no longer an option to pre-buy. If I want to add a 4th or 5th day later, will Genie+ be included automatically or will I have to add that on the day of for those additional days?

Hiya Sean - welcome back to planDisney!

Thanks so much for stopping by with another question for our team of panelists. I see that my friend Ariane already gave you the scoop on how to modify your Theme Park Tickets if your needs and plans end up changing. She's an expert, and I love all the extra tips she provided about ringing in the New Year at the Walt Disney World Resort - I might need to plan my own trip!

Currently, Guests are eligible to pre-purchase the Disney Genie+ Service as an add-on to their multi-day Theme Park Tickets, and starting June 8, Disney Genie+ will only be offered for purchase through the My Disney Experience Mobile App on the day of your visit. So, if you purchase your tickets now, you will be able to add Genie+ at the time of purchase. We don't yet know what ticket modifications will look like in the future, but I think it is safest to assume that you will need to purchase Genie+ on the day of your visit for any additional days beyond what you initially purchased.

There could always be some pixie dust floating your way, but here at planDisney, we always like to plan for every possible scenario. You may want to check back sometime after June 8th to see if there is additional information on how modifying your tickets would work. To be honest, I think you'll be fine either way. In fact, your crew might decide that you don't need Genie+ for every day of your vacation, so you might be able to save some money by not adding it to those additional park days!

I know you were hoping for a more concrete answer, and my hope is that we'll understand more after some Guests have experiences with this change later this month. Until then, I suggest purchasing the tickets you know you need now while adding on Genie+ is still an option!
