Hey, howdy, hey, Megan! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question! It sounds like you're excited to take advantage of some of the amazing
benefits of staying as a guest at a Disney Resort hotel on your next visit; I can't say I blame you! From
Early Theme Park Entry, complimentary transportation, and advance booking windows for dining reservations and Lightning Lane passes, it's truly magical to stay in the magic!
Megan, as a guest at a
Disney Resort hotel, you are eligible for all of these benefits, even if you purchase your theme park ticket separately from your resort reservation. With a valid Disney Resort hotel reservation, you will be able to make your
Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass selections 7 days ahead of your check-in date for the entire length of your visit, book your
advance dining reservations 60 days ahead of your check-in date for the entire length of your visit, and have access to Early Theme Park entry from check-in day to check-out day!
Speaking of Early Theme Park Entry, I always recommend timing your arrival at least 45-60 minutes before the posted early entry time. Generally, you will be able to scan into the park at least 30 minutes before the posted entry time and then be kept in a line for your chosen attraction until it's time to ride! As a little lagniappe, be sure to check the
Bus Wait Times under the
Hotel Reservation tab in your
My Disney Experience mobile app as you're getting ready for your day! This will help you to time your departure and avoid long waits at the bus stop! It will even give you an estimated arrival time so you'll know exactly when you can expect to be at your chosen theme park!
As a bonus tip, Megan, if your visit will be in 2025, you will also receive
complimentary admission to a Disney Water Park on the day of your check-in as a Disney Resort hotel guest! This is such a fun new perk to dive into the magic right away!
I hope this helps, Megan! I'm sure you're going to have the best time at the Most Magical Place on Earth, and if you have any other planning questions, come on back to
planDisney and let us know!
See you real soon,
Alison
