We are about to buy a 3/4 day FL resident pass, but is it possible we can upgrade it to a Seasonal Weekday pass for the remainder of the year when we get there? We are 1st timers and FL residents and just unsure if we want to purchase an annual pass now

    Hi, Debora!

Congratulations on your family's upcoming first trip to Walt Disney World! I think you're going to love experiencing all the excitement the Resort has to offer. You can certainly upgrade the Florida Resident 3- or 4-day Discover Disney Tickets (starting at $119 and valid Jan. 5 through June 3, 2013) or the Florida Resident 3- or 4-day Base Tickets (starting at $157 and valid six months after first use or Dec. 18, 2013, whichever comes first) to Florida Resident Weekday Select Passes. You'll have the option of paying for the passes in full or taking advantage of a monthly payment plan available to Florida residents. If you choose the payment plan, you can still pay off the balance owed at any time if you wish.

As a Weekday Select Passholder, you'll be eligible to receive exclusive communications, invitations to special events, and discounts on Resort hotels, dining, merchandise and more! Just keep in mind that your tickets must be upgraded in person before they expire. Have a wonderful, pixie-dusted time on your inaugural Walt Disney World vacation, and please feel free to ask any other planning questions you may have!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
