If I buy a 2 day pass ticket, do I have to use it for the same park. Ie. can I use 1 day for magic kingdom and 1 day for animal kingdom with 2 days ticket?

    Hey there, hi there Josh!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. It sounds like you'll be heading to Florida soon and are thinking about spending a couple of magical days in Walt Disney World!

When you have limited time, deciding which parks to visit can be a challenge. Every park is unique and has something special to offer. You can use your two day park ticket to visit any one park you choose on each day. If that means you want to spend 1 day at Magic Kingdom and 1 day exploring Disney's Animal Kingdom, that sounds like an excellent plan. After you purchase your ticket you'll just want to make a reservation for those parks on the day that you want to visit.

Want to see even more of Walt Disney World during your short stay? Consider upgrading your tickets by adding the Park Hopper Option. This will allow you to visit multiple parks in a single day. You certainly won't get to see and do everything, but you will be able to experience a bit of every park. On your first day you could start in Disney's Animal Kingdom and at 2:00 PM (or whenever park hopping begins) you could head to Magic Kingdom. On the second day you could start in Disney's Hollywood Studios and then head to EPCOT in the evening.

Hope this helps. Enjoy planning your magical vacation!

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
