Hello there, Kate! Welcome to planDisney - we're so pleased you're here. Thanks for bringing us this question. It looks like your visit is nearly here, so let's get to your question and make sure you're all set.
Woohoo! A four-day visit to the Disneyland Resort sounds absolutely magical and I'm so excited for you. I love making decisions and I also love changing my mind. The great news is that you can absolutely cancel and rebook your starting park for one day of your visit. Before you cancel, Kate, I strongly recommend checking the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar to ensure your desired park has reservations available. I would hate for you to lose your theme park reservations altogether. If the desired park is not available, you can still hop on over starting at 11:00 a.m.
As a heads up, there is a special ticketed event happening on the day of your arrival and Disneyland Park is
scheduled to close at 8:00 p.m. However, the magic doesn't have to stop for you and your family - you can hop on over to Disney California Adventure Park to finish out your night. I recommend catching
World of Color - ONE which debuted earlier this year as part of the
Disney100 Celebration. I highly recommend trying to join the
virtual queue at 12:00 p.m. for access to a great reserved viewing area.
I hope this is helpful for your upcoming visit, Kate. If you have other questions as you are planning, please come back to see us. Here's wishing you a magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth.
See ya real soon,
Michelle
