Hello there, Lynn!
Welcome to
planDisney. Thank you for taking the time to ask us your question about the
Disneyland Resort! Will this be your first visit to The Happiest Place on Earth here in California? If so, you’re in for a real treat!
The
Park Hopper option is great because it gives you access to both
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park throughout each day of your visit. Moving back and forth between the two adjacent theme parks is the best way to maximize your time and fit as much magic into your days as possible, especially when you check the
attraction wait times available in the
Disneyland mobile app.
If your
theme park ticket is scanned for entry at Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park on one or more days of a multi-day ticket, that ticket will expire 13 days after it was first used, even if you still have additional allotments left. You won’t be able to apply any remaining days as credit toward a future ticket or give your ticket to another person. However, even if it reaches its expiration date, the amount you paid for a completely unused theme park ticket can generally be applied toward the purchase of a new, valid ticket of equal or greater value at the current sales price. If you have additional questions about this policy or need more clarification, you’re welcome to call (714) 781-4636 to speak with a Cast Member.
I hope this information helps, Lynn. Please feel free to
stop by again to ask any other Disneyland Resort planning questions you can dream of as your trip approaches!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
